Playground Project Gaining Steam

The Wolf Point Lions Club’s project for new playground equipment at Borgie Park is continuing with donations from throughout the community.

Highs Plains Motors presented a donation of $500 last week in support of the project.

More than a year ago, Lions Club members decided to start the project of raising funds for much-needed new playground equipment at the park.

The Lions Club raised $3,500 with its annual pancake breakfast for the project.

The estimated total amount needed is about $60,000. So far, the Lions Club has raised $35,000,including $10,000 from the city.
