Nesbit Selected For All-Star Game
Froid/Lake’s senior Javonne Nesbit has been selected to play in this summer’s Montana- Wyoming all-star basketball game. Nesbit has received All-State honors in each of the last two seasons. Nesbit led the Red Hawks to a second- place showing at the Class C state tournament this year.
Games are scheduled for June 17, in Sheridan, Wyo., and June 18 at Lockwood High School.
Also selected to Montana’s team were Jackson Basye of Bozeman, Ty Huse of Bozeman, Payton Sanders of Billings Skyview, Brayden Koch of Helena Capitol, Taveous Randle of Belgrade, Caden Bateman of Missoula Big Sky, Rhett Reynolds of Shelby, Damon Gros Ventre of Lodge Grass and Owen Long of Three Forks.
Montana leads the boys series, 63-27.
Montana’s girls’ team includes Bailee Sayler of Missoula Hellgate, Mya Hansen of Billings Central, Kaitlin Grossman of Billings West, Brenna Linse of Billings Senior, Draya Wacker of Melstone, Kyla Mornberg of Box Elder, Taya Trottier of Harlem, Madeline Heggem of Roy/Winifred, Keke Davis of Missoula Hellgate and Sadie Filius of Havre.
