Faith Home Foundation Receives Donation In Memory Of Dschaak
Wolf Point High School class of 1973 alumni recently banded together to make a donation in memory of classmate Sharon (Swanson) Dschaak . With the assistance of social media, classmates were able to come together and donate $1,000 to the Faith Home Foundation in Wolf Point.
Rosie Kurokawa, 1973 alumni class treasurer and representative for the class, met with foundation directors and family members as she presented the check.
âThis is where her heart was,â stated Eldon Dschaak, Sharonâs husband. âThis is where she enjoyed helping and caring for people in her long career and we thank her class of â73 for her memorial.â
Faith Home had been special to Sharon and her family, as it was there that she started her nursing career 39 years previously.
âWe are overwhelmed by the amount of donations given in Sharonâs name,â stated Geri Bach, secretary for the Faith Home Foundation.
Mary Boysun, foundation board member and close friend of Sharon, also agreed and said, âThe money given will go directly to the needs of the residents, and that is what Sharon would want.â
The class of â73 is now set up online for any further memorials, donations and class reunion financial matters going forward.
