Chamber Plans Upcoming Events

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors planned ahead for upcoming events during its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

An After Hours event is set for Friday, Aug. 27, near the Sherman Inn. The Wolf Point Elks Event Center will be serving the food for the celebration that is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m.

The band Short Change featuring Jerry Zilkoski will provide the entertainment.

The Night on the Missouri dinner is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 10, and Saturday, Sept. 11. The chamber is looking for volunteers to assist both nights of the event.

Chamber officials decided that, in the future, they will stress that throwing water balloons at drivers during the Stampede parade is not permitted.

The board agreed to move to the chamber’s office to a Highway 2 office near CHMS and other businesses. This will make the Chamber more accessible to visitors traveling along the highway..
