Fort Peck Community College Holds Annual Golf Tournament

The annual Fort Peck Community College scholarship golf tournament was held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course. The 26th annual tourney featured 25 four-person teams.

Shooting a 61 for top honors in gross was the team of Easton Copenhaver, Lee Loendorf, Jeremiah Whitright and Morgan Norgaard.

Placing second with a 63 was the team featuring Rodney Paulson, Gary Fisher, Troy Halverson and Justin Halverson.

Two teams tied for third with 64s. One team was Jason Slayter, AJ Allard, Troy Walters and Matt Schriver. The other team was Lafon Copenhaver, Morris Tattoo, Dennis Loendorf and Devin Loendorf.

On the net side, the winning team was Ty Nelson, Marques Whitehorse, Anthony Tran and Jason Hamilton with a score of 50.2.

Two teams tied for second at 52.2. One team featured Griffin Ricker, Adrian Ricker, Kaniel Ricker and Teagan Escarcega. The other team consisted of T’Elle Evans, JT Oliver, Jeff Kent and Josh Glover.
