Poplar Falls In Fairview

Poplar fell against defending state champion Fairview, 63-26, to open the football season on Thursday, Aug. 29.

Fairview gained a 34-0 lead in the first quarter and held a 55-0 half-time advantage.

Each squad scored eight points in the third quarter and the Indians struck for 18 points in the final period.

Poplar’s touchdowns came on two passes and one threeyard run.

The Indians will host Culbertson on Saturday, Sept. 7.
