Pair Charged With Theft, Assault

Local Duo Robs Town Pump

Wolf Point’s Town Pump was robbed Thursday, Nov. 14, at 5 a.m., according to Wolf Point Police Lieutenant Brian Erwin.

Two suspects were apprehended in the robbery.

Taylor Weston, 19, male, of Wolf Point, was charged with robbery, theft, simple assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The second suspect was a 15-year-old minor, female, also of Wolf Point. She was charged with minor in possession, curfew violation, theft - complicity and robbery - complicity.

According to Erwin, the two suspects entered the store and began throwing merchandise at the clerk on duty. During the assault, one of the suspects went behind the counter and “stole as many cigarettes as they could carry,” Erwin said.

Both suspects were later located and apprehended by Wolf Point Police Department officers.
