Activities On Tap For Saturday Evening
This weekend kicks off the holiday activities in Wolf Point with the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Stroll, the Optimist Club of Wolf Point’s annual Christmas Bazaar and Angel Tree Radio-thon.
The Optimist Club’s Angel Tree Radio-thon will take place Friday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. on KVCK Radio. This fundraising effort helps the club purchase gifts for the less fortunate children in our community.
The Optimists continue their weekend of holiday festivities with their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wolf Point High School gym. Numerous vendors will be on hand with their wares and the Optimist Club will serve their famous salad bar from 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. and be selling their ever-popular “cookies by the pound.”
Friesen’s Floral will be holding their annual Christmas Open House on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6-7, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with refreshments and door prizes.
The Christmas Stroll kicks off Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. and continues until 8 p.m. in downtown Wolf Point.
Festive activities include Naughty and Nice Hot Cocoa, Sherman Inn; Candy Cane Toss, Great Northern Development Corporation; hay rides, Build Pro Construction; free chili until gone, Wolf Point Lions Club; s’mores-making station, Western Bank; face painting, Northeast Montana Health Services; letters to Santa - Bruce “Cubby” Damon; popcorn and cookies in front of Bryan’s by Abby & Cece; photos with Santa by Nicole Huber Photography; popcorn by Wolf Point Cub Scouts; and Catholic Burgers to go, Catholic Burger Stand.
Some retail stores will be open until 7 p.m. and the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede Committee will have Christmas tree sales at Marvin Brookman Stadium from 4 to 7 p.m.
