Darlene Davis
Darlene (Huso) Davis, 76, died Feb. 15, 2020, at Northeast Montana Health Services in Wolf Point.
She was born March 24, 1943, the first child of Kenneth and Thelma (Gidley) Huso. She graduated Wolf Point High School in 1961.
As a child, she was her dad and uncle Clarence’s sidekick, checking the cows on the family farm, summer fallowing or just about anything to stay out of the house. Her mother used to tell how Darlene loved to cook but, when it came time to clean up, she could be found outside.
She met and married Calvin Davis. Together, they had 42 wonderful years. They were busy years. Irrigating, farming and raising their two boys filled her time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; and son, Jim.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Toavs.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
