Clark Charged With Assault On Minor
Charles Connor Clark, 26, of Wolf Point, pleaded not guilty March 9 in federal court in front of U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris to charges of assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
Clark was detained pending further proceedings.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred Nov. 28, 2017, in Wolf Point when Clark allegedly assaulted a male under the age of 18. The victim was not identified by name in the court documents.
If convicted of the most serious crime, Clark faces a minimum mandatory 10 years to life in prison, a $250,000 fine and at least five years of supervised release.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice investigated the case.
