Statewide COVID-19 Cases Up To 471

Montana’s new COVID-19 cases remains low at 471, up 10 from Tuesday, May 12, while North Dakota’s case count increased by 423 to 1,994 in the past week.

At presstime Tuesday, May 12, there were 471 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Montana. Of those cases, 437 are listed as recovered and only 18 active cases. There have been 65 total hospitalizations, with five hospitalizations listed as active. There were no new deaths this week, with that count remaining at 16. Most are treating their symptoms at home.

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, a total of 28,950 tests had been completed. Roosevelt County still sits at seven recovered COVID-19 cases.

At presstime, there have been 1,994 cases reported in North Dakota, with 1,269 individuals listed as recovered. In North Dakota, 135 have required hospitalization with 32 currently hospitalized. Deaths reported in North Dakota have risen to 45, up from 38 this time last week. Total tests completed is 57,731 with 55,737 returning negative.

In North Dakota, Williams County has reported 21 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning, May 19, which is up one from May 12. Mountrail County has reported 39 cases, which is up two. Ward County has 28 reported cases, which remains unchanged over the past week.
