Plans Moving Forward For Hosting Brewfest In June, Stampede In July
The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, Wolf Point Brewfest Committee and Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede Committee have announced that both events will be held this year.
The annual Brewfest will be held Saturday, June 20, at the Marvin Brookman Stadium.
The 97th annual Stampede will be held July 9-11 at the Marvin Brookman Stadium with performances starting at 7 p.m.
The Wild Horse Stampede Committee has been working with the local health department and will be following the PRCA guidelines and closely monitoring Gov. Bullock’s directives.
The ticket booth will open June 24 on Main Street at 12:30 p.m.
Watch for updates on other Stampede scheduled events, including a street dance on Friday night.
The Stampede parade theme is “Proud to be an American.” Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19, parade participants will not be allowed to distribute candy.
Chamber president Jeff Presser noted that many volunteers were still needed to work concessions and take tickets for Stampede. Many longtime volunteers who are older and/or more at-risk with health concerns have declined to help this year. Over 30 people per night are needed to volunteer at the rodeo in the concessions stand, the ticket booth and beer booths.
