Destroyed In Thursday Fire

The Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fully-involved structure fire Thursday afternoon, July 9, in the alley on the 500 block of Benton and Custer streets. The fire burned through an overhead powerline, requiring Montana-Dakota Utilities to respond to assist. Officers from the Wolf Point Police Department, Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice and BIA Fire assisted at the scene with traffic control. According to law enforcement, they believed squatters had been staying in the building.
