Azure To Compete In Las Vegas September 9 Azure To Compete In Las Vegas September 9

Northern Plains Independent Staff Poplar's Hunter Azure will look to get back on the winning track with his third Ultimate Fighting Championship battle in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sept. 5.

Azure, who won four state wrestling championships for Poplar, will fight Cole Smith in a bantamweight bout during UFC Vegas 9. The card is highlighted by Alistair Overeem taking on Augusto Sakai.

Azure holds an 8-1 record in his mixed martial arts career and is 1-1 in Ultimate Fighting Championship.
