Wolf Point School Board Shares Multi-Option Reopening Plan
Plan A In Place For Now
The Wolf Point School District held their regular board meeting Monday, Aug. 10, at the high school auditorium. The meeting was also accessible via Zoom and the Southside School’s Facebook page. Highlighting the meeting was the district’s three-pronged plan for returning to school this fall.
Superintendent Loverty Erickson discussed the district’s reopening planning before the council and attendees. She outlined the preferred district general COVID plan, which contains a three-tiered return-to-school plan:

Students will need to use water bottles, as they will not be allowed to drink from school fountains. School sports and extracurricular activities will follow MHSA and CDC guidelines.
Students who select for exclusively virtual learning will not be allowed to participate in extra curricular activities.
Plan B, a hybrid in-person and virtual approach, would only go into effect if the board or administrators feel it’s necessary to make scheduling adjustments due to community spread and/or other factors.
