Pound Puppies Hosts Spay/ Neuter Clinic In Wolf Point
Wolf Point Pound Puppies is hosting a two-day spay/neuter clinic for cats and dogs Aug. 29-30 at 420 Cascade St., beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday is cat day. Sunday is set aside for dogs.
At press time, initial sign-ups for both clinic days are full, but cancellations and no-shows are common. Text Tina Betshismedicine at 406-650-2177 to inquire. If you do not hear back, text again.
“Do not assume you’re on the list,” said a Pound Puppies’ social media post, “If you cannot make it to the clinic after signing up, please contact us as soon as possible so we can fill your spot.”
Betshismedicine told the Northern Plains Independent that the group had numerous no-shows at the June 27 clinic in Culbertson.
This is a low cost clinic — the fee for a spay/neuter is $30 for cats, $60 for male dogs, $85 for female dogs. The price includes vaccinations, dewormer and flea/tick treatment. If you cannot afford the fee, let Pound Puppies know and someone will try to find a sponsor to cover all or part of the cost.
