Fire Blotter Aug. 19: Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire on Pumpkin Hill at 4:35 p.m. with two trucks. The WPVFD responded with four trucks and command to a structure fire on the 500 block of Front Street at 10:14 p.m.
Aug. 20: Firefighters responded to a rekindle of the fire on the 500 block of Front Street at 8:27 a.m.
Another grass fire was reported on Pumpkin Hill at 1:34 p.m. Two trucks responded.
At 9:46 p.m., a trash dumpster was reported on fire behind Albertsons. One truck and command responded.
Aug. 21: A large grass fire was reported east of Oswego at 1:55 p.m. Five trucks and command responded and were assisted by BIA Fire and Valley County Long Run Fire Department.
Aug. 22: A car fire on the 200 block of Granville Street was reported at 2:03 a.m. One truck and command responded.
Aug. 23: A car on fire was reported on the 500 block of Cascade Street at 1:35 a.m. Two trucks and command responded.
Firefighters responded to a small structure fire near the intersection of Sixth Avenue North and U.S. Highway 2 at 10:38 p.m. Two trucks and command responded.
Aug. 24: At 3:32 a.m., a grass fire was reported on the 700 block of West Dayton Street in the alley. One truck and command responded.
At 5:11 a.m., a suspicious fire was reported on Pumpkin Hill. One truck and command responded.
At 8:59 p.m., a grass fire was reported on Road 2051 (Rothe’s Road), north of Wolf Point. Two trucks and command responded. At 9:48 p.m., a fire was reported on Road 2016 (Beer Can Alley), north of Wolf Point. Three trucks responded.
