Jennifer Lynn Forest, 40, passed away in her home in Manteo, N.C., on Aug. 15, 2020.

Jennifer was born in Williston, N.D., to Connie Forest of Jarvisburg, N.C., and Michael (Laura) Forest of Peerless, Mont. Jennifer graduated from North Eastern High School in 1999.

She worked during high school but later got a job with Food Lion and she only worked four months before being promoted to manager. She enjoyed working up until a car accident left her disabled but despite what doctors said she did learn to walk and use her arms again. Jennifer had big heart with determination and never gave up the fight to walk again and she did accomplish that.

Jennifer shared a competitive spirit and a love of sports with her sons. She was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan. Jennifer and her mother, Connie, shared a love of music, dancing, watching movies and had quite a few laughs maneuvering the wheelchair in and out of doctors’ offices.

She loved her boys dearly and her mother was her hero. Jennifer will live on in our hearts forever.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her four sons. Larry Dale Carter III, Malachi Eugene Moore, Timothy Lee “Deuce” Williams Jr. and Eric Edward Eagleson III; two brothers, Chad (Jackie) Forest of Peerless, Mont., and Travis (Kara) Sears of Billings, Mont.; one sister, Kyla Forest of Glasgow, Mont.; and aunts, Kim (Dennis) Visser of Williston, N.D., Rosann (Donn) Elvsaas of Froid, Mont., Jackie (Gary) Grainger and Judy Strauser of Poplar, Mont. Jennifer had a very close relationship with her aunts. She is also survived by her uncle, Woody (Janice) Johnson of Poplar, Mont., and many extended family members: 27 cousins she was very fond of, five nieces and nephews and good friends too numerous to mention.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Pete (Delbert) Marottek, Della Mae Marottek and OK and Jenette Forest; and aunts, Deena De-Witt and Laura Tollefson.

Jennifer’s memorial service was held at Powells Point Christian Church in Harbinger, N.C., on Aug. 20, 2020. If you would like to offer your condolences to the family, send them to 121 Peachtree St., Jarvisburg, NC 27947.
