Leslie Keiser
Leslie Kay Keiser, 16, died Friday evening, Aug. 28, 2020. Her life was cut too short. She had a saying in her room that said “Don’t be so sad. It’s such a waste of time.”
She was born on Dec. 5, 2003, in Wolf Point to Ronald Glenn Keiser Jr. and Natalie Dawn Hempel Keiser. She attended school in Wolf Point, but dropped out during the eighth grade. She was planning to get her GED.
She made many friends throughout the years and touched many lives. She was a very quiet person. It was difficult for her to open up to people. She had a talent for fixing her hair and makeup. She loved clothes. She would try them on right away. She had dreams of becoming a photographer. She was a very hard worker. At the time of her death, she had two jobs. She worked at the theater and at the Sherman as a housekeeper.
She is survived by her mother, Natalie Hempel Keiser of Wolf Point; fatherm Ronald Keiser Jr. of North Carolina; sisters, Doriane Keiser of Wolf Point and Alexis Keiser of California; brothers, Reno Byrd of Wolf Point, Ronnie Keiser- Brown of California, Keith Keiser of California and Daniel Keiser of California; and grandparents, Kenneth Hempel and Diane Krahn Hempel of Poplar and Linda Romero Chambers of California.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Assembly of God Church in Wolf Point. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
