Caleb Gourneau, 58, male, Third Avenue South and Main Street, no insurance and failure to have vehicle equipped with working headlights, tribal court.

Fire Blotter Aug. 24: One truck and command from the Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a suspicious grass fire on the 700 block of West Dayton Street at 3:24 a.m.

At 5:11 a.m., the WPVFD was called to a suspicious grass fire on Seventh Avenue and Dayton Street. One truck and command responded.

A grass fire near Rothe’s Dam north of the landfill was reported at 8:59 p.m. Two trucks and command responded to the fire which was deemed suspicious in origin.

Firefighters responded to a grass fire on Beer Can Alley north of Wolf Point at 9:40 p.m.

Aug. 25: A grass fire, determined to be suspicious, was reported at 1:3 a.m. near the soccer fields. One truck and command responded.

Two trucks and command responded to a motor vehicle accident at 10:26 p.m. at the intersection of Third Avenue South and Dawson Street.

A suspicious grass fire was reported on the 800 block of Fourth Avenue South in the alley at 10:45 p.m. Two trucks and command responded.

Aug. 27: A grass fire was reported on BIA Route 1 two miles from U.S. Highway 2 at 4:40 a.m. Two trucks and command responded to the fire, which was determined to be suspicious.

At 5:49 a.m., two trucks responded to a suspicious grass fire seven miles north on Swimming Pool Road.

At 6:11 a.m., firefighters responded to a grass and haybale fire on Lomiller Road south of U.S. Highway 2 with two trucks. The fire was deemed suspicious.

Firefighters responded to a suspicious grass fire on Beer Can Alley at 4:26 p.m. with three trucks.

Aug. 28: Three trucks and command responded to a grass fire on Montana Highway 250 north of Wolf Point at 4:05 p.m.

At 11:24 p.m, firefighters were called back to a rekindle of the fire on Montana Highway 250. Four trucks responded.

A dumpster fire was reported at 10:22 p.m. on the 300 block of Helena Street. One truck and command responded.

A grass fire on Smith Road west of Wolf Point was reported at 11:29 p.m. Two trucks responded.

Aug. 30: The WPVFD was paged to a garbage fire at Siljenbergs on BIA Route 1 at 1:03 p.m. Two trucks and command responded.

Two trucks and command responded to a report of a grass fire near the lagoon at 8:17 p.m. No fire was found.

At 9:42 p.m, two trucks and command responded to a grass fire near the lagoon/ riverbottom.
