Wolves Fall To Wildcats In Season-Opener

The Wolf Point Wolves were edged by Class C power Circle, 20-25, 21-25, 20-25, to open their volleyball season on Saturday night, Aug. 29.

Jewel Olson put together a solid match for Wolf Point. She finished with seven kills and accounted for two blocks.

Demi Kegley served two aces for the Wolves.

Other leaders for Wolf Point included Gracie Ferdina with 19 assists and Hailey Nelson with eight digs.

Ryann Moline led Circle's attack with 11 kills.

Alexis Moline had 19 assists and two blocks. Izzy Nelson finished with two aces and two blocks.

Kayli Haynie accounted for seven assists to lead the Wildcats.

Wolf Point is looking forward to a busy week of action. After traveling to Glasgow Thursday, Sept. 3, the Wolves will host Baker on Friday afternoon. Wolf Point then travels to Scobey on Saturday.
