Leonard Hollow Horn
Leonard Charles Hollow Horn, 53, of Wolf Point, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, in Wolf Point.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1966, in Poplar to Stanley Hollow Horn Sr. and Irene (Smith) Hollow Horn. He went to school in Poplar and Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Ore. He briefly lived in Pine Ridge, S.D.
On Feb. 8, 2003, he married Brenda Lee (Runs Through) Hollow Horn. They were married for 17 years. He worked as a laborer for most of his life. He was a wellknown mechanic, an artist and a firefighter.
He is survived by his children, Lakota Hollow Horn, Emberlee Onstad, Kyleigh Hollow Horn, Lillian Hollow Horn, Bree Thunderchild and Kate Onstad; 14 grandchildren; and siblings, Stanley Hollow Horn Jr. of Wounded Knee, S.D., Vernon Hollow Horn of Tulsa City, Ariz., Margaret BigLeggins of Poplar, Clover Buckles of Poplar, Russell Hollow Horn of Poplar, Arlen Hollow Horn of Poplar, Arlie Hollow Horn of Poplar and Heather Redstar of Billings.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon and Geraldine Barber; brothers, Richard Hollow Horn and Emerson Hollow Horn; and his grandchildren, Tyzan and Bryce.
The funeral was held Friday, Sept. 11, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment followed at King Memorial Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
