Wolf Point Loses Football Contest Against Colstrip
The Wolf Point Wolves suffered a 48-7 football loss at Colstrip on Friday night, Sept. 25.
“We just didn’t play well,” Wolf Point coach Ryan Wilson said. “We had a lot of turnovers. Mental mistakes hurt us. Colstrip played tough.”
Scoring Wolf Point’s touchdown was Austin Wilson.
Leaders in rushing for the Wolves were Wilson with 69 yards and Braeden Toavs with 30 yards.
“Austin and Braeden ran the ball hard,” Coach Wilson said.
Corey Martell completed three passes. Wilson caught two passes.
On the defensive side, Wilson had 11 solo tackles, three assisted tackles and a forced fumble. Ian Flynn accounted for six solo tackles and three assisted tackles.
Other defensive leaders included Kyler Main with five tackles, Kraven Silk with four tackles, Forest Dumont with three tackles and Toavs with three tackles.
Player of the game for the Wolves was Wilson. Lineman of the game was Ben Boysun. Scout team player of the week was Forest Demont.
