Bainville Wins Match Against Lustre Squad

The Bainville Bulldogs earned a league victory at Lustre Christian on Friday, Oct. 23, to gain momentum heading into the district volleyball tournament.

The Bulldogs knocked off the Lions by a 23-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-21, margin.

“I was happy that the girls showed they could fight back and win,” Bainville Coach Kallie Clarke said. “They all played their roles well and won as a team.”

Bainville then fell short against Nashua, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 17-25, 6-15, on Saturday.

Brecklyn Pippenger finished with six aces and 11 kills. Micah Anderson accounted for 14 kills and two blocks.

Kaitlyn Adkins had 13 assists. Gianna Boyd had 14 digs.

The Bulldogs lost to Mon-Dak by a 14-25, 10-25, 24-26, final on Thursday, Oct. 22.
