Bainville Falls Short Against Savage
Bainville’s volleyball season came to an end with a 13-25, 16-25, 18-25, loss in Savage during the District 1C volleyball tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Bainville Coach Kallie Clarke said a couple of players had standout matches for the Bulldogs.
“Micah Anderson really stepped up for our team in the back row and kept us in the game,” Clarke said. “Our senior Gianna Boyd played her best game of the season in the last match of her high school career.”
After a tough season as far as wins and losses, the future looks brighter for the Bulldogs.
“When I look back on how we were when we began this summer, they all improved greatly,” Clarke said. “We had a really inexperienced team. I think if we clean up some mistakes, we should be in the middle of the pack next season.”
