Commissioners Approve Purchases For Road Department
The Roosevelt County commissioners held their regular meeting Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. Commissioners Gordon Oelkers, Duane Nygaard and Gary Macdonald were in attendance.
Road department requests for new equipment were approved. A John Deere backhoe for use in Bainville was approved, as was a request for a Ford truck in the amount of $33,685.
Detention center employee Morty Manning resigned.
Claims for Oct. 27 and Nov. 6 were accepted in the amount of $270,325.12 and $128,330.01 respectively.
Camarillo Burshia was approved for hire with maintenance at a rate of $15.30 per hour and Maria Ryan was approved for the Clerk and Recorder’s Office at $18.32 per hour.
A pay raise was approved for Sam Boyd in Brockton. Annual pay raises were approved for Tonetta Cantrell, with the sheriff’s office, clerk of court employee Erika Fyfe, dispatch employee Gaydella Brunnelle and aging services employee Anne Heller.
