Wolf Point’s scholars of the week for Sept. 25 are Sam Boysun for Wolf Point Junior High School and J’elle Garfield for Wolf Point High School.

B o y s u n , 12, is a seventh- grader. His parents are Vicky and Shawn Boysun. Siblings are Jed and Ben.

His extra-curricular activities are band and weight lifting. His favorite class is geography. His favorite teacher is Abby Traeholt.

His role model is his father. Sam’s favorite hobby is fishing.

He plans to go into engineering. He was selected from Jennifer Dyas’ and Lori Sande’s class.

Garfield, 15, is a sophomore. Her mother is Katie Zilkoski. Siblings are Semarah and Reed.

Extra-curricular activities are basketball, volleyball, softball and track. Her favorite teacher is Eric Peterson.

Her role model is Dr. Mark Zilkoski. Hobbies include sleeping and cooking.

She plans to attend Montana State University and go into the medical profession.

She was selected from Jennifer Dyas’ class.

Scholars of the Week for Wolf Point High School and Wolf Point Junior High are Presley Grandchamp and Wyatt Nelson for the week of Oct. 3. Grandchamp, 15, is a sophomore. Her parents are Ron and Ruth Jackson and John and Heather Grandchamp.

Her favorite subject is Spanish. Her favorite teacher is Tressa Welch.

Hobbies including playing ball and going for runs.

Siblings are Lake, Ily, Kalum and Kylin. Presley was selected from Douglas Evans’ class.

Nelson, 12, is a sevent h - g rade student. His parents are Karen Nelson and Ben Nelson.

Extracurricular activities include band. Favorite class is math. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Larsen.

He says his role model is his older brother. His favorite hobby is gaming. Siblings are Hailey and Nathanial.

He plans to have a profession in engineering. He was selected from Lori Sande’s class.

Scholar of the Week for Wolf Point Junior High is Michael Youpee for the week of Oct. 10.

Yo u p e e , 13, is a seventh- grader. His mother is Tristan Miller.

His favorite subject is reading. His favorite teacher is Scott Montgomery.

He is interested in wrestling.

Hobbies including running and games. He would like to be a game developer when he is older.

Siblings are Ashleynn and Tre’. He was selected from Merle Zilkoski’s class.

Teagan Williams and Nevaeh Maldonado-Walker are the Scholars of the Week for Wolf Point High School and Junior High for the week of Oct. 24.

Williams, 12, is a seventh- grader. Her parents are Kim and Cole Hanks.

Her activities include cross country. Her favorite subject is Spanish and her favorite teacher is Scott Montgomery.

She says her mother is her role model. Siblings are Mason, Adi, Afton, Kane, Tress and Ryder.

It’s A Girl

Olivia Reign Garfield was born Nov. 11 at 7:36 a.m. to Jessica Smith and Stone Garfield of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. She weighed seven pounds four ounces and was 20 inches long. Her grandparents are Darla Downs of Wolf Point; Bobby Smith of Hampton, Iowa; Julie Graham of Glasgow and Doug Garfield of Wolf Point.

Hobbies include reading and hanging out with friends.

She plans to become a cosmetologist. She was selected from Martha Sifuentes’ class.

Maldonado-Walker, 16, is a sophomore. She is the daughter of Anthony Red-Cloud. She has 12 siblings.

Extracurricular activities include volleyball. Her favorite class is Native American studies. Her favorite teacher is Tressa Welch.

She says her role model is Jesus. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends.

She was selected from Tressa Welch’s class.

Alyssa Follet and Gabriel Keiser are the Scholars of the Week for Wolf Point High School and Junior High for the week of Oct. 31.

Follet is a sophomore. Her parent/ guardian is Karla Williams.

Her favorite subject is history and her favorite teacher is Ryan Wilson.

She says she is her own role model. Siblings are Serae, Mariss and Payton.

Hobbies include drawing.

She plans to go into tattooing and piercing as a career. She was selected from Wendy Connelly’s class.

K e i s e r , 12, is a seventh- grader. He is the son of Darcy and Ron Keiser. His siblings are Trinity, Kirsten and Matthew.

Extracurricular activities include football. His favorite class is math. His favorite teacher is Scott Montgomery.

His role model is his brother Matthew. His hobbies include working out. He would like to pursue a career as a chef.

He was selected from Abby Traeholt’s class.
