Art Contest Marks Rural Health Day
A student art contest was held to mark National Rural Health Day Nov. 19. The day is intended to highlight the unique health care needs and challenges of rural communities.
Contestants were asked to draw pictures about what rural life and rural healthcare meant to them. Approximately 30 submissions were received. The winners were seven-year-old Trenton, Jacob, 15, and Kenadee, 15. All three winners will have their artwork displayed in the lobby at RMC. The students attend Culbertson School.
RMC marketing/foundation director Jaimee Green said, “RMC commends its amazing staff serving on the frontlines of rural health care every day. The are heroes on any given day, but this year, they have also met the challenge of responding to COVID-19 pandemic. We are thankful for their dedication to service and their community.”
