Gianforte Announces Communications Team

Montana Governor-elect Greg Gianforte has announced his communication team on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Travis Hall was selected as senior advisor and director of strategic communications. Hall was an advisor in Gianforte’s gubernatorial campaign and worked in his congressional office.

Hall was raised in Ashland, Va., and graduated from Georgetown University. He previously held a senior communications role with the House Republican Study Committee. He served as the Conservative Reform Network’s communications director.

Also selected were Brooke Stroyke as Gianforte’s press secretary and Garrett Turner as director of media and content.

Stroyke currently is the spokeswoman for Gianforte’s gubernatorial transition. Her experience includes being communications director for the Montana Republican Party during the 2020 election cycle and serving as a speechwriter for the secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Stroyke graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Turner has worked as press secretary in Gianforte’s congressional office since 2019. He was a broadcast journalist in Alaska and Virginia.

He holds a degree in business journalism from Baylor University and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College.
