Sports Important For Manning

Antone Manning likes to use his basketball talents for Wolf Point High School.

The senior’s activities include basketball and golf for the Wolves. Basketball is by far his favorite sport.

What does he like most about basketball? “Shooting,” he laughed. “I like the fans.”

Standing at nearly 6-4, Manning can be a force for the Wolves. “I’m good on the boards,” he noted.

His play helped the Wolves earn the district basketball tournament last season. He has high goals heading into this year.

“I want to win districts, divisionals and make it to state,” he said.

He feels the Wolves’ strength as a team is its defense.

Manning, who carries a 3.0 grade point average, says his favorite class is cardio.

“I like getting my shots up,” he laughed.

His favorite teachers are Cody Larson and Tiffani Darby.

“They’re fun to joke around with,” Manning said.

He enjoys attending Wolf Point High School.

“It’s probably one of the better schools in our conference,” Manning said. “Everybody knows everybody.”

Manning plans to attend Rocky Mountain College and major in sports medicine.
