Wolf Point 100 Club Receives Donation
The Wolf Point 100 Club has received a donation of $2,500 in memory of Albert and Angela Loendorf by their children, Dr. Alan Loendorf of Miles City and Art and Sandra Loendorf of Billings.
The funds are earmarked for Trinity Hospital’s surgery department, where Angela was a nurse anesthetist for Doctors Borge, Knapp and Listerud. The money will be used to purchase a new cardiac monitor.
Angela and Albert were Army veterans who married in 1950 and lived on the family farm north of Vida. They loved to bowl and could often be found at various league bowling events at the VFW, sometimes with their sons playing under the ball return.
The Loendorfs were very active in the surrounding area. He was a lifetime member of the Elks and the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Wolf Point Historical Society, Vida School board and Equity Co-Op. She taught Sunday school at St. Ann’s in Vida and was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Vida Homemaking Farmerettes.
