Wolf Point Student Plans To Become Mechanic

Wayne Eagle Boy is a strong senior at Wolf Point High School.

His favorite classes include American government, history and weight training.

“I like learning about different wars and looking back in history,” Red Eagle said.

His goal is to attend Williston State College and study to become a diesel mechanic.

“I like working on vehicles. I wanted to work on diesels to see what it would be like,” Eagle Boy said.

His mechanical background has included rebuild- ing half a motor and replacing a transmission.

Eagle Boy’s activities at the school has included playing football. He keeps busy currently as a custodian after school.

His favorite teachers are Ryan Wilson and Tiffani Darby.

Eagle Boy says Wilson coached him in football and is fun to be around.

He has known Darby since junior high school days and she has been supportive.

“This is my home,” Eagle Boy said. “I want to get out and explore. But it’s nice to be around the people you have known since junior high.”
