Cookbook Project

Humanities Montana executive director Randi Lynn Tanglen, Ph.D., gave a talk Dec. 16 about her research on Montana womens’ community cookbooks. The15-minute video, Secret History of Cookbooks, is available on YouTube.com. Tanglen’s research has included recipes from nearby Lustre. She says the humanities help us see our lives and our histories. “Cookbooks help us rethink the lives and work of female family members,” said Tanglen.
