Culbertson Speech And Drama Place First In Eastern Division

The Culbertson Speech and Drama team competed in a virtual meet hosted by Three Forks Saturday, Jan. 9.

Zach Miller placed second in memorized public address; Colby Olson placed fourth in dramatic solo; and Trevor Green took sixth place in informative.

Nyreece Halvorson qualified for semifinals in humorous oral interpretation. Eric Chilson, Morgan Lucas, and Joseph McCarty also competed.

The team placed first in drama for Eastern Division Class C and third place overall for all Class C schools. They also placed first in speech for the Eastern Division Class C and fifth overall for all Class C schools.

Jeri Gustafson thanked community members who helped represent Culbertson as judges. “We’d like to give a huge shoutout to those who judged on our behalf this past weekend. Without you our team couldn’t find success!”
