Chief Stafne for Wolf Point Junior High School and Samantha Reed for Wolf Point High School are the Scholars of the Week for the week of Dec. 12.

Stafne is an eighth-grader and 13 years old. His father is Grant Stafne. Siblings are Cade, Cawl and Cauy.

Extra-curricular activities include basketball and football. Hobbies are sports and video games. Role model is his father.

His favorite teacher is Eric Peterson. His favorite class is physical education.

He plans to attend college in Memphis. He is interested in a profession with the Tribes.

He was selected from Eric Peterson’s class.

Reed is a sophomore and is 16 years old. Her parents are Shane Reed and Katie MacDonald.

Siblings are Kasey Reed, Jesse Reed, Tanner MacDonald and Trenton Wemmer. Her role model is her mother.

Extra-curricular activities include volleyball and wrestling. Hobbies are riding horses and wrestling.

Her favorite classes are wood shop and Spanish. Favorite teachers are R.C. Page and Martha Sifuentes.

Reed plans to attend college in Colorado Springs and become a veterinarian.

She was selected from her Spanish class.

Amaya Steele and Ethan Blount are the Scholars of the Week in Wolf Point for the week of Dec. 19.

Steele is an eighth-grader and is 14 years old. Her parents are Mary and Myron Long. Siblings are Adraina and Lonnie.

Her role model is her grandpa.

Her favorite class is math.

She was selected from Lori Sande’s class.

Blount is in 11th grade and is 16 years old. His parent is Troy Blount. Extra-curricular activities include basketball. Hobbies include running.

His favorite classes are anatomy and physics. His favorite teacher is Tiffani Darby.

He plans to become a physician.

He was selected from Ryan Wilson’s class.
