Bainville Girls Down Brockton Team

Bainville’s girls’ basketball team rolled to a 57-14 win over Brockton on Friday, Jan. 22.

The Bulldogs enjoyed a 17-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 27-7 half-time advantage.

Bainville increased its advantage to 42-11 in the third quarter.

Sadie Ullmer led the Bulldogs with eight points. Adding seven points each were Lakyn Rabbe and Kaitlyn Adkins.

Also scoring for Bainville were Miah Pippenger with six, Brecklyn Pippenger with six, Kendra Romo with six, Kaelyn Romo with six, Micah Anderson with five, Elsie Wilson with four and Tally Berwick with two.

Scoring for Brockton were Kyra Stormy with nine, Ava Lone Bear with three and Povee Youngman with two.

The Bulldogs lost at Plentywood by a 55-25 final on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Plentywood gained a 17-2 advantage in the first quarter. The Wildcats led 33-17 at intermission.

Plentywood outscored Bainville by an 18-3 in the third quarter.

Bainville’s top scorers were Rabbe with nine and Kendra Romo with eight. Scoring two points each were Adkins, Wilson and Ullmer.

Top scorers for Plentywood were Ashytn Curtiss with 18, Liv Wangerin with 12 and Emma Brensdal with 10.

The Bulldogs will host Lustre on Friday, Jan. 29, and head to Savage on Saturday, Jan. 30.
