Wolf Point, Poplar Reschedule Games
After having two basketball games postponed because of COVID precautions last week, Wolf Point and Poplar look to get things back on track this week.
Wolf Point athletic director Cody Larson said the plan is for the Wolves to play at Glasgow on Friday, Jan. 29.
The Wolves will host Frazer for sub-varsity action on Saturday, Jan. 30, Play will start at 10 a.m.
A wrestling mixer in Wolf Point will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28. Teams will include Wolf Point, Poplar, Harlem and Sidney.
The Wolves will make-up their homes against Malta on Saturday, Feb. 20. Officials are working on a new date for the Poplar contests.
Poplar activities director Coy Weeks said the Indians will host Sidney’s girls and travel to play Sidney’s boys on Thursday, Jan. 28. Poplar will play in Frazer on Friday, Jan. 29.
Poplar’s home games against Harlem have been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 4.
The district tournament is scheduled for Feb. 25-28 with the boys playing in Wolf Point and the girls facing off in Poplar. The divisional tournament is scheduled for March 4-6 with boys playing in Cut Bank and girls playing in Wolf Point.
