Brockton Loses Games To Opponents
Brockton dropped its basketball games against Fairview and Circle during the week.
Brockton’s boys lost to Fairview, 67-33, on Saturday, Jan. 30. Fairview led 23-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Top scorers for Brockton were Treydyn Bauer with 15 and Allen Russell with 12. Adding three points each were Wambidi Yellow Hammer and Quannah First That Walks.
Brockton lost to Circle, 43-24. The Wildcats gained a 19-11 advantage in the first half.
Bauer led Brockton with 16 points. Also scoring were First That Walks with four, Russell with two and Yellow Hammer with two.
Hayden Lockie scored 18 and Caleb Gackle added 13 for Circle.
Brockton’s girls fell to Fairview by a 59-13 margin.
Fairview jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter and 42-9 advantage at the half.
Leading Fairview were Emily Sundheim and Megan Asbeck with 16 points each.
Circle downed Brockton by a 62-17 final.
The Wildcats led 18-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Tina Hogan scored 24 points for Circle.
