New Format Planned For District Tourney

The District 2C basketball tournament will have a different format than previous seasons because of social distancing precautions.

Tournament action will be held in both Sidney and Culbertson during the third week of February. Games will actually begin on Saturday, Feb. 13, when the seventh-10th place teams will take part in play-in games hosted by Culbertson.

Starting times are scheduled for noon, 2:30, 5 and 7 p.m. On Monday, Feb. 15, through Thursday, Feb. 18, two games will be played each night in both Sidney and Culbertson.

All the remaining games are scheduled to take place in Sidney on Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20.
