Red Hawks Defeat Savage Squads
Froid/Lake rolled to a 61-21 boys’ basketball win over Savage on Friday, Jan. 29.
The Red Hawks earned a 19-2 advantage during the opening quarter. Mason Dethman scored six points and Bode Miller added five points in the quarter.
Froid/Lake led 34-10 at intermission.
The Red Hawks struck for 25 points in the third quarter for a 59-16 advantage. Highlighting the quarter were three three-pointers by Colt Miller.
Top scorers for Froid/ Lake were C. Miller with 15, Javonne Nesbit with 12 and Dethman with 12.
Also scoring were Tyler Wivholm with nine, B. Miller with seven, Walker Ator with four and Issac Johnson with two.
Sloan McPherson accounted for 11 points.
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks posted a 50-23 girls’ basketball victory over Savage .Froid/Lake jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter. The Red Hawks led 32-2 at intermission.
Reaching double figures for the Red Hawks were Carolyne Christoffersen with 16, Sydney Dethman with 13 and Dasani Nesbit with 10 points.
Also scoring were Baylee Davidson with nine and Mara Salvevold with two.
Teah Conradsen led Savage with six points.
