Red Hawks Stop MonDak Girls

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks edged MonDak, 31-25, in league action during girls’ basketball play on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

The Red Hawks gained an 8-5 advantage in the first quarter and held a 17-14 advantage at the half.

Froid/Lake increased the margin to 26-19 in the third quarter.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Dasani Nesbit with 10 and Mara Salvevold with eight points.

Also scoring were Sydney Dethman with four, Baylee Davidson with four and Jaeleigh Davidson with two.

Leading the Thunder were Kiarra Brunelle with nine and Elizabeth Field with seven.
