Froid/Lake Girls Fall Short To Malta

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks put together a solid second half but lost to Malta’s girls by a 48-39 margin on Friday, Feb. 5.

The Class B power M-ettes took a 15-10 lead in the first quarter and led 26-16 at the half.

The Red Hawks outscored Malta by a 13-12 margin in the third quarter.

Sydney Dethman accounted for 22 of the Red Hawks’ points. Carolyne Christoffersen also reached double figures with 10 points. Rounding out the scoring were Baylee Davidson with six and Dasani Nesbit with one point.

Malta’s top scorers were Addy Anderson with 12, Justine Lamb with 10 and Allison Kunze with nine points.
