Froid/Lake Outscores Dodson Boys

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks dominated play in the first half and downed Dodson, 65-42, during non-conference boys’ basketball action on Saturday, Feb. 6. Froid/Lake earned a 17-4 advantage during the first quarter of play.

The Red Hawks then accounted for 16 points in the second quarter for a 33-13 half-time advantage. The Red Hawks increased their lead to 50-27 in the third quarter.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Mason Dethman with 18 and Colt Miller with 16 points. Also reaching double figures were Tyler Wivholm with 15 and Javonne Nesbit with 14 points.

Bode Miller and Walker Ator scored two points each.

Zarek Jones accounted for 17 of Dodson’s points. Alex Werk added seven points.
