Bainville Loses Contests To MonDak

Bainville dropped both league basketball games in MonDak on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

In the boys’ game, the Thunder won by a 55-33 final.

The Bulldogs trailed by only a 12-10 margin in the first quarter, but MonDak outscored them 16-1 in the second quarter.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were Chuck Butikofer with 10 and Jesse Strickland with nine. Also scoring were Kaden Hansen with five, Sam Butikofer with five and Braeden Romo with four.

Leading the Thunder were Keegan Nelson with 18, Aidian Harbin with 17 and Darian Holecek with 13.

In the girls’ game, MonDak earned a 43-23 victory.

The Thunder took a 20-3 advantage in the first quarter. MonDak led by a 43-3 halftime margin.

Leading Bainville were Sadie Ullmer and Lakyn Rabbe with six points each.

Also scoring were Kendra Romo with four, Brecklyn Pippenger with three, Kaitlyn Adkins with two, Gwen Norton with one and Tally Berwick with one.
