Culbertson Drops Games To Fusion

Culbertson lost both league basketball games against the Fusion in Richey on Thursday, Feb. 11.

The Cowboys dropped a 72-43 decision.

Richey/Lambert took a 23-10 lead in the first quarter and led 46-18 at the half.

Hunter Lucas scored 10 points for the Cowboys.

Also scoring were Colin Avance with six, Isaiah Bighorn with six, Maurice Bighorn with six, James Kirkaldie with five, Mike Pederson with three, Ethan Pirkle with three, Nyreece Halvorson with two and Carson Solem with two.

Top scorers for the Fusion were Caleb Senner with 16, Toby Clinton with 16, Grady Gonsioroski with 14 and Wyatt Robbins with 12.

The Cowgirls fell by a 44-32 final. Ahead by a 24-20 halftime margin, Richey/Lambert outscored Culbertson 13-2 in the third quarter.

Makena Hauge led Culbertson with 14 points.

Also scoring were Destiney Thompson with nine, Autumn Bergum with four, Megan Granbois with two and Alicyn Ator with two.
