Hutchinson Enjoys Cheering Up Others

Wolf Point High School senior Sage Hutchinson likes to make people feel better. That’s why on this particular school day, he painted a mustache on his face. “I enjoy watching other people smile,” Hutchinson said.
He hopes to continue accomplishing that feat throughout his life.
“I want to change the world. I want to make a footprint for the better in history,” Hutchinson said. “I will reach for goals until they’re done and then reach for further goals.”
His hopes include encouraging people to be less judgmental, showing more love and standing up for others.
“I’m capable of the impossible. Everybody is, they just need to push themselves,” Hutchinson said. “I like to stand up for people who can’t stand up for themselves. I love the underdog stories, that’s the life I’m living.”
His hobbies include skateboarding and street art. When he does street art, he likes to display positive messages.
“There’s a difference between vandalism and street art,” he said.
After spending time in the weight room this winter, he seeks to have a strong track season this spring.
His favorite class is Ryan Wilson’s history class.
“He really connects with students based on how fast they learn,” Hutchinson said.
He plans to start with general studies in college. He mentions being an author, musician, artist and business leader. “I don’t want one career,” he said. “I want several careers.”
