Red Hawks Earn Wins Over MonDak

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks rolled to basketball victories over MonDak on Thursday, Feb. 11.

In the girls’ contest, the Red Hawks took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and enjoyed an 18-4 half-time advantage.

The Red Hawks outscored MonDak by a 12-4 margin in the fourth quarter.

Leading Froid/Lake were Sydney Dethman with 15 and Carolyne Christoffersen with 13 points.

Also scoring were Baylee Davidson with nine, Dasani Nesbit with four, Meg Ator with two and Mara Salvevold with two.

Top scorers for MonDak were Brynn Folvag with eight and Elizabeth Field with seven.

Froid/Lake’s boys earned a 51-29 win over the Thunder.

The Red Hawks led 9-6 at the end of the first quarter and 29-13 at the half.

Colt Miller finished with 23 points while Mason Dethman added 10.

Rounding out the scoring for the Red Hawks were Tyler Wivholm with eight, Javonne Nesbit with seven and Bode Miller with three.

Aidian Harbin scored nine points for MonDak.
