Boys Receive All-Tournament Honors

Three players from Froid/ Lake were voted to the All-Tournament First Team for the District 2C boys’ basketball tournament. The selections were made by media and tournament officials.

Froid/Lake’s junior Javonne Nesbit was selected the tournament’s most valuable player. Also selected to the first team for the Red Hawks were senior Colt Miller and freshman Mason Dethman.

Other first-team selections were MonDak’s senior Darian Holecek and Fairview’s junior Kanyon Taylor.

The Second Team included Froid/Lake’s junior Bode Miller, Plentywood’s junior Reese Wirtz, Richey/Lambert’s senior Caleb Senner, Richey/ Lambert’s junior Grady Gonsioroski and MonDak’s senior Keegan Nelson.

Receiving honorable mention were Fairview’s senior Paul Hardy, Bainville’s senior Kaden Hansen, Bainville’s junior Jesse Strickland, Circle’s sophomore Beau Beery and Plentywood’s sophomore Cayden Trupe.

Selected to the First Team for Defense were Froid/ Lake’s Dethman, Froid/Lake’s B. Miller, MonDak’s Nelson, Fairview’s Brady Buxbaum and Froid/Lake’s Nesbit.
