Girls Earn 2C All-Tournament Selections
Two players from Plentywood and Froid/Lake were each selected to the All-Tournament first team for the District 2C basketball tournament. The picks were made by media and tournament officials.
Plentywood’s junior Liv Wangerin was voted the tournament’s most valuable player. Plentywood’s junior Ashtyn Curtiss was also selected to the first team.
Froid/Lake players named to the first team were senior Sydney Dethman and junior Dasani Nesbit. MonDak’s junior Elizabeth Field was also voted to the first team.
Culbertson’s sophomores Megan Granbois and Makena Hauge were each voted to the second team.
Rounding out the second team were MonDak’s senior Brynn Folvag, MonDak’s sophomore Kiarra Brunelle and Circle’s senior Ryann Moline.
Receiving honorable mention were Circle’s sophomore Alexis Moline, Plentywood’s junior Shayla Fawcett, Savage’s sophomore Teah Conradson, Savage’s freshman Brooke Reuter and Savage’s senior Taryn Hagler.
Voted to the First Team for Defense were Dethman, Fawcett, Wangerin, Field and Brunelle.
Selected to the Second Team for Defense were Reuter, Nesbit, Folvag, Curtiss and Circle’s Sierra Nagle.
