Pound Puppies Host Clinic In Wolf Point
The Wolf Point Pound Puppies are hosting a spay and neuter clinic March 6-7 at 420 Cascade Street. The list for dogs was full as of Feb. 26, but interested parties stay tuned as no-shows are common.
This is a low cost clinic. Fees are $50 for cats and $100 for dogs. The price includes all vaccinations, de-wormer and flea/tick treatment. The group also takes care of some minor medical issues like ear mites and small wounds.
Pound Puppies was started to rescue local dogs from the Wolf Point area. Their mission is get animals out of the pound and into a “furever home.”
To sign up for the clinic, text Tina Betshismedicine at 406-650-2177. You must get an answer before you’re on the list, so don’t assume you have a spot. Participants will receive a time and date to drop off animals. Social distancing and other precautionary measures related to the ongoing pandemic are in place.
Sponsors are needed as always. If you cannot afford the fee, Pound Puppies will find a sponsor for you. The clinics will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until all scheduled animals have been treated.
